Cancellation and Refund Policy
Our Cancellation and Refund Policy was last updated August 17, 2025.
The following terms are applicable for any products that You purchased with Us.
Interpretation and Definitions
Interpretation
The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or plural.
Definitions
For the purposes of this Cancellation and Refund policy:
- “Company” (referred to as either “the Company”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our” in this Agreement) refers to Beyond the Music Classroom™, LLC.
- “Meeting” refers to any group Session, individual Session, or something similar that is offered on the Service.
- "Session" refers to the number of times a Meeting occurs.
- “Attendance” refers to Your being present at any point (regardless of duration) during the Meeting.
- “Absence” and “Absent” refers to You not being present for the entire length Meeting.
- "Refund" refers to the cost of the Meeting.
- “Service” refers to the Website.
- “Website” refers to Beyond the Music Classroom™, accessible from https://www.beyondthemusicclassroom.com
- “You” means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.
Additional Information
Regarding Meetings and Sessions for group Meetings:
- Part 1 is one Session.
- Part 2 is one Session.
- Part 3 - Option A is two Sessions.
- Part 3 - Option B is three Sessions.
Regarding Meetings and Sessions for individual Meetings:
- Each Meeting is one Session.
If a group or individual Session ends before the scheduled end time, if all the material was covered and if all questions were answered regarding the current Session's topic(s), no Refund is given for the remaining time.
Cancellations and Refunds
All requests for Cancellations and / or Refunds initiated by You must be completed in writing by clicking the "Cancel" button in the confirmation email (as outlined below) or by replying to the confirmation email (as outlined below). The Company will not honor Cancellation and / or Refund requests by phone.
Any Cancellation and / or Refund initiated by the Company will be done in writing via email.
Group Sessions
There are no Refunds for student technical problems of any nature.
For Meetings with one Session (ex., Part 1 or Part 2):
You have until 24 hours before a scheduled Meeting to cancel. Any cancellation done by You and completed and received by the company before 24 hours will receive a full (100%) Refund. You must cancel the Meeting by clicking the "Cancel" button in the confirmation email in order to receive the Refund.
After 24 hours before the scheduled start time, there are no Refunds. To cancel, You must reply to the confirmation email and state that you are cancelling.
If you are Absent, You may enroll in another Meeting (group Session or individual Session).
The Company may cancel a Meeting with one Session at any time. If the Company cancels a Meeting with one Session before the scheduled start time, a full (100%) Refund will be given. You may choose to enroll in another Session.
For Meetings with two Sessions (ex., Part 3 - Option A):
You have until 24 hours before the first scheduled Session to cancel. Any cancellation done by You and completed and received by the company before 24 hours will receive a full (100%) Refund. You must cancel the Meeting by clicking the "Cancel" button in the confirmation email in order to receive the Refund.
After 24 hours before the scheduled start time, there are no Refunds. To cancel, You must reply to the confirmation email and state that you are cancelling.
After the first Session of two Sessions has ended and you were in attendance of the first Session, and you will not be attending the second Session, partial Refunds of 50% may be done at the sole discretion of the Company. You must reply to the confirmation email and state the reason why you are cancelling and requesting a Refund within 24 hours of the scheduled end of the first Session.
24 hours after the scheduled end of the first Session, there will be no Refunds.
If you were Absent for the first Session, You will not be permitted to attend the second Session.
If you were Absent for the second Session without notifying the Company within 24 hours of the scheduled end time of the first Session, no Refunds will be given.
You may enroll in an individual Session (at full price) to make up for the group Session that was missed or re-enroll in Part 3 - Option A (at full price) at another date.
If the Company cancels a Meeting before the first scheduled start time, a full (100%) Refund will be given.
If the Company cancels the second Session after the first scheduled Session has ended, a 50% Refund, will be given for the remaining Session. You may enroll in individual Sessions for the remaining topics.
For Meetings with three Sessions (ex., Part 3 - Option B):
You have until 24 hours before a scheduled Meeting to cancel. Any cancellation done by You and completed and received by the company before 24 hours will receive a full (100%) Refund. You must cancel the Meeting by clicking the "Cancel" button in the confirmation email in order to receive the Refund.
After 24 hours before the scheduled start time, there are no Refunds. To cancel, You must reply to the confirmation email and state that you are cancelling.
After the first Session of three Sessions has ended and you were in attendance of the first Session, and you will not be attending the remaining Sessions, partial Refunds of 75% may be done at the sole discretion of the Company. You must reply to the confirmation email and state and the reason why you are cancelling and requesting a Refund within 24 hours of the scheduled end of the first Session.
If you were Absent for the first Session, You will not be permitted to Attend the remaining Sessions.
There are no full or parital Refunds for any Absences.
You may enroll in an individual Session (at full price) to make up for the group session that was missed or re-enroll in Part 3 - Option B (at full price) at another date.
If the Company cancels a Meeting before the first scheduled start time, a full (100%) Refund will be given. You may enroll in individual Sessions (at full price) for the remaining topics.
If the Company cancels the remaining Sessions after the first scheduled Session has ended, a 75% Refund will be given. You may enroll in individual Sessions (at full price) for the remaining topics.
If the Company cancels the remaining Sessions after the second scheduled Session has ended, a 50% Refund will be given. You may enroll in individual Sessions (at full price) for the remaining topics.
If the Company cancels the remaining Session after the third schedule Session has ended, a 25% Refund will be given. You may enroll in individual Sessions (at full price) for the remaining topics.
Individual Sessions
There are no Refunds for student technical problems of any nature.
You have until 24 hours before a scheduled Meeting to cancel. Any cancellation done by You and completed and received by the company before 24 hours will receive a full (100%) Refund. You must cancel the Meeting by clicking the "Cancel" button in the confirmation email in order to receive the Refund.
After 24 hours before the scheduled start time, there are no Refunds. To cancel, You must reply to the confirmation email and state that you are cancelling.
There are no Refunds if You were Absent.
The Company may cancel a Session at any time. If the Company cancels a Session, a full (100%) Refund will be given for the individual Session that was cancelled.
Session Rules
If the session rules are not followed, which causes the student to be removed from the session, no refund is given for the session(s).
Refund Processing Times
Once a Refund is issued by the Company, it could take up to 10 additional business days for the payment processor to issue the Refund.
Severability and Waiver
Severability
If any provision of these Cancellation and Refund Policy is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Waiver
Except as provided herein, the failure to exercise a right or to require performance of an obligation under this Cancellation and Refund Policy shall not effect a party's ability to exercise such right or require such performance at any time thereafter nor shall be the waiver of a breach constitute a waiver of any subsequent breach.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold the Company and its employees harmless from any demands, loss, liability, claims or expenses (including attorneys' fees) made against the Company by any third party due to or arising out of or in connection with your use of the Website.
Changes to The Cancellation and Refund Policy
We reserve the right, at Our sole discretion, to modify or replace this Cancellation and Refund Policy at any time. If a revision is material, We will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at Our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use Our Service after those revisions become effective, You agree to be bound by the revised Cancellation and Refund Policy. If You do not agree to the new terms, in whole or in part, please stop using the website and the Service.
